1 Then Jesus went out and departed from the temple, and His disciples came up to show Him the buildings of the temple. 2 And Jesus said to them, “Do you not see all these things? Assuredly, I say to you, not one stone shall be left here upon another, that shall not be thrown down.”
3 Now as He sat on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately, saying, “Tell us, when will these things be? And what will be the sign of Your coming, and of the end of the age?”
4 And Jesus answered and said to them: “Take heed that no one deceives you. 5 For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will deceive many. 6 And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. 7 For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places. 8 All these are the beginning of sorrows.
9 “Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you, and you will be hated by all nations for My name’s sake. 10 And then many will be offended, will betray one another, and will hate one another. 11 Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many. 12 And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold. 13 But he who endures to the end shall be saved. 14 And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.

The title of this message is “What is going on in the world?” or “What in the world is going on?”
coming out of a pandemic.. war in Ukraine … people talking about the possible start of a world war… domestic issues, the rise of lawlessness and crime.. high prices of goods..
What is going on? War in Ukraine. Fear and uncertainty.
As Christ followers we should not get your answers from the mainstream media
I hope you are not waiting for a solution from a group of godless leaders who met in Brussels, Belguim
Don’t put your faith in NATO, the European Union and the United Nations.
We have to turn to our Bibles instead of Youtube or Social Media.
You have to heed not the words of the so-called leaders of the free world, but the leader of the church - JESUS CHRIST - Who alone can liberate people from the true ruler of this world - Satan.
In this lesson today, you’ll see that instead of asking “What is going on and what is going to happen next?” we should not be unaware and instead we should ask
“Lord when will the end be? When are you coming?”
These are the questions asked by the Disciples of Jesus:

11 Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many.
Increased Lawlessness
12 And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold.
This seems to be too much to handle for the follower of Christ..
We can find peace in Him:
33 These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.”
13 But he who endures to the end shall be saved.
The Olivet Discourse is:
3. An Encouragement of His Return.
14 And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.
We have to stay busy preaching the Gospel
God’s consummation rather than man’s completion.
28 “And it shall come to pass afterward,
that I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh;
your sons and your daughters shall prophesy,
your old men shall dream dreams,
and your young men shall see visions.
29 Even on the male and female servants
in those days I will pour out my Spirit.
